These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Arizona Backpacking Rentals website and services. By using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Arizona Backpacking Rentals provides premium backpacking gear rentals to adventurers heading to Havasupai Falls, the Grand Canyon, and other backcountry destinations. We have been outfitting trips since 2019 and are based in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, Arizona.

2. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site in a way that damages the site, interferes with others' use, attempts unauthorized access, or violates any applicable law.

3. Reservations and Pricing

Pricing displayed on the website is current at the time of booking and subject to change. Final pricing is confirmed at checkout and includes the kit base price plus any selected add-ons. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.

4. Kit Rental Agreement

When you reserve a kit, you agree to the rental terms including:

• Returning all gear in the original shipping box using the prepaid return label
• Reporting any damage or loss promptly
• Accepting responsibility for lost, stolen, or destroyed items at the listed replacement price
• Understanding that normal trail wear is expected and not charged
• Returning gear by the agreed return date or accepting late fees of $25 per day

5. Cancellation Policy

• Full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before your trip start date
• 50 percent refund if you cancel between 7 and 13 days before your trip
• Trip credit only (no refund) if you cancel within 7 days of your trip
• One free date change per booking, requested at least 5 days before original trip date

6. No Guarantee of Trip Outcomes

We provide premium gear and pre-trip support. We do not guarantee weather conditions, permit availability, trail conditions, or trip outcomes. You are responsible for obtaining your own permits, planning your trip, and ensuring your physical readiness.

7. Permits and Trip Planning

Havasupai permits must be obtained directly from the Havasupai Tribe at havasupaireservations.com. Grand Canyon backcountry permits must be obtained from Recreation.gov. We are not affiliated with the Havasupai Tribe or the National Park Service and cannot assist with permit acquisition.

8. Communications

By contacting us through this site, you consent to receive communications from us by email, phone, and, where you have opted in, SMS.

9. SMS Terms

If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages from Arizona Backpacking Rentals, you may receive:

• Transactional messages related to your reservation, kit shipping, delivery confirmation, return reminders, and customer service
• Marketing and promotional messages, only if you separately consent

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arizona Backpacking Rentals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of this site, our services, or any backpacking activity undertaken with our rental gear.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arizona Backpacking Rentals from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, infringement of any rights of another person or entity, or any injury or damage occurring during your use of rental gear.
